Our programs address all aspects of children’s healthy developmental growth: physical, cognitive, emotional and social. Primary schools are increasingly keen to offer programs such as this, but most lack the resources to develop their own. So a proven, ‘off-the-shelf’ inamojo program, offered by a fully-trained facilitator, can be a wonderful solution.

Weaving together original music and stories with mindful practices such as meditation, breath awareness, expressive movement and art…. inamojo programs nurture children on inner journeys of self-enquiry, self-discovery, and self-awareness.

Inamojo was created by the team behind the world-renowned Chakradance™ for adults, with help from many experts in childhood development and primary education.

It is based on the integrative ‘map’ of the chakra system, together with Jungian psychology and a variety of contemporary Early Childhood Development theories. These foundations underpin and drive the key developmental themes in each class: trusting instincts; emotional expression; self-esteem; compassion; communication; intuition and imagination; and self-awareness.

Inamojo follows the same format each week (story > dance > art > discussion), and each class covers a different theme and learning experience. By using the same format, children become familiar with the class structure and can move further into their own experiences.

The first 9-week program, a series of classes called “Naga’s Curse”, has been created for children between the ages of 5 and 8.

The structure of our 9-week inamojo programs

  • Introductory Class: introducing the characters and storyline.
  • Red class: safety, security, learning to trust instincts.
  • Orange class: feeling, and appropriately expressing, emotions.
  • Yellow class: explores self-esteem, confidence, courage.
  • Green class: addresses empathy, compassion, love.
  • Blue class: effective communication, assertiveness.
  • Indigo class: imagination, dreams, and goals.
  • Violet class: self-awareness, thinking, meta-cognition.
  • Integration class: revisits key elements of the program.

We aim to assist the children to integrate their inamojo experience into daily life, so they have tools and knowledge to help them grow.
